Our backyard needed regrading & better drainage. Jacob provided a great drainage solution, a timely quote, and worked with us to add onto our project. While scheduling was busy for the spring, we were squeezed in before the heat to properly grow our yard from seed. His guys did a lot of work in 2 days: rebuilt a poorly constructed retaining wall, added catch basin, framed the back garden bed, planted a tree, & graded/seeded the lawn. After the late May rain, we have a green lawn & are very happy with the work that was done. Great communication through the entire process. Highly recommend!

Expert Tree Trimming and Pruning in Tucson, AZ
Tree trimming and pruning in Tucson requires more than a basic cut. Wolfberry Landscaping handles dead branch removal, canopy thinning, structural shaping, and clearance cuts for homes across Tucson. Our crews work on common local species including mesquite, palo verde, desert willow, and ironwood. Tucson's monsoon season brings wind gusts that can exceed 40 mph, and overgrown or unbalanced limbs are a leading cause of storm damage to roofs, fences, and vehicles. We assess each tree's structure before cutting, removing weak or crossing branches that raise storm risk. We also avoid harmful practices like topping, which weakens regrowth and opens trees to disease. Whether your trees need pre-monsoon thinning, post-storm cleanup, or routine shaping to stay healthy through Tucson's extreme summer heat, our team handles the work safely and correctly. Call Wolfberry Landscaping to schedule a tree trimming visit for your Tucson property.

Tree Trimming and Pruning FAQ
Common questions about tree trimming and pruning in Tucson, AZ.
Late winter through early spring is the best window for major pruning on most Tucson trees. Cooler temperatures reduce water stress and give trees time to recover before summer heat arrives.
Yes, we trim native Tucson species including mesquite, palo verde, desert willow, and ironwood. Each species has different growth habits, and we cut accordingly to protect structure and health.
Pre-monsoon trimming is strongly recommended for Tucson properties with large or overgrown trees. Removing weak and heavy limbs lowers the chance of branch failure during high-wind storms.
Heavy pruning during peak summer heat can stress trees and cause sunscald on exposed bark. We assess each tree and limit cuts during the hottest months to safety-related removals only.
We follow the standard practice of removing no more than 20 to 25 percent of the canopy in a single visit. Taking too much at once weakens Tucson trees and can trigger unstable regrowth.
Yes, we remove all cut branches and debris from your Tucson property before we leave. Your yard is left clean after every trimming visit.
